Cosmopolitan Curling Wand!

Heyyy lovelies!

So for Christmas my mum kindly treated me to a curling wand, but as she knows me very well! she knows that when it comes to hair products its a 5 minute wonder for me. I get easily stressed out and hate doing my hair I'd rather pay someone to do it for me than myself I'm so lazy.

I have naturally curly hair, comparing curls to a Disney Princess I'd say I have Merida Curls, which I love but sometimes I'd like an Ariel Curl nice and bouncy at the bottom, So I thought a curling wand was the best way to achieve it!

Anyhow I'm Babbling on..........................

So I got the Cosmopolitan Curling Wand:

Positives: 

• It was only 16 euro, Which I think is a fair price.
• It doesn't take FOREVER to heat up like other products I use
• It tells you what temperature it's on, which for me is very helpful, because ever since I saw that video that went viral of the girl who burnt her hair off I've been really paranoid.
• Very easy to use and not too heavy.

Negatives: 

• Although it leaves you with a lovely curl, when I use it the very end of my hair is dead straight and the middle curly, of course this is how I'm using it, If you have any tips on using a curling please leave me a comment :).
• The Cable is too short: life I said I get easily stressed when doing my hair and I need lots of space I don't want to be sat on top of the socket whilst I'm doing my hair.

More pro's than Con's :) I highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to spend an excessive amount.. Cheap and Cheerful :D

Christmas day in our new home! 2014

Have to say this has been one of the best Christmases EVER! This year I cooked the traditional Christmas dinner and it went down a treat! 

I'm very proud of myself as I didn't throw a tantrum once ! LOL was lovely being surrounded by family. Food, Games and Chocolate what more can you ask for! 

I have been well a truly spoilt, and finished the night off with a cup of tea and some chocolate cake...... Lush.

Getting excited for Christmas!

Hello lovelies!

8 days till Christmas! and could I be more excited?

This Crimbo is going to one to remember as I am hosting the traditional dinner this year in my new house! I can't wait to chill, eat and spend time with family.

This year I haven't bought anyone presents not even my fiancé because after buying the house we are literally skinto! that's why I'm so excited to cook lunch I feel like I'm giving something back, well I say lunch its more like tea as my parents won't be here till 6 and I'm doing a Christmas Brunch for my bro/sis in-law and beautiful nephew who we have bought a present (the only one) and I can't wait to see his little face!

I have 2 more days left at work till my two week holiday and believe me I need it, I'm also VERY excited to say that I received an early Christmas present from my Gparents a new camera and I'm going to start vlogging! I don't want to miss a thing of life and looking forward to sharing the memories so stay tuned for that!

With have a lot more free time over the Christmas season I will be blogging a lot more! I miss it so much so going to "try" and get back into a routine!

Music Monday: Santa Claus is coming to town!

Music Monday is back! and as it's December and tis the season to be jolly would be rude not to dedicate this post to a Christmas song.

I went shopping on Saturday and as I was browsing around the shops I could help but move my feet to Justin Bieber's cover of Santa Claus is coming to town apart from him having an amazing voice, this is a song that you have to smile and sing-a-long to, if you don't you're a definition of a Scrooge! Bah Humbug to you!

Why I haven't been blogging in a while

Hey lovelies 

First of all this is the second time I've done this post as the first one deleted on its own! 

Anyhow in my previous post I mentioned how bought a house and that the process do buying it had taken up so much of my time, well making it liveable took even more time! 

It was stressful but now I have lived here a week I can finally say it was worth it!

M.I.A Blame it on the new house

Hey loves!

Oh my goodness! I have been a nightmare with blogging recently, I've literally had not time do anything now a days!

The reason why I have been so absent is because last Friday Mikey and I signed for our very first house! I couldn't be happier, not trying to be big headed but for 21 I think we have done an amazing job to own a house and we've worked very hard for every single bit of it. It has been extremely stressful and time consuming and that was just getting the house, it's only going to get worse to be honest as much as this house is beautiful and has plenty potential, there is a lot of work to be done!

There's no doors, windows and all the cables have been ripped out the wall, not to mention the only thing we own furniture wise is a sofa because we've been in furnished apartments, got lots to do!

Saturday day out! OOTD

Hey beauts

I had such a lovely day on Saturday, after Mikey finished work we went up to our friends house and had some lunch, I had a girlie catch up while the boys played on the play station. The original plan for Saturday was for us to go and book our tattoo in but in the end we changed our mind, another day maybe. 

Instead we went for a mini shopping trip looking for new furniture and kitchen as appliances as we've just bout a house that I can't wait to get started on! 

After all the excitement of DIY and home shops we all went for an early tea at a restaurant I had never been to before called "chee" I really enjoyed the meal and will definitely go again! I had garlic bread and mushrooms to start (not to myself shared them with Mikey) and a spaghetti carbonara for the main though it was very creamy I couldn't eat but it might have been because I was so full from the started.

Here was my outfit from Saturday...

I loved this outfit I put it together last minute as the weather was very unreliable that day. This is something I'm definitely wearing to work because it's so smart!

I was wearing so black dolly shoes from primark but forgot to take a picture 

And believe it or not the "Michael Kors" bag was 5€ from the beach! Obviously not real haha but this bag is my life at the moment, it goes with everything and fits so much in it! So if you ever go on holiday to Spain, Guardamar beach is the place to be hehe

Getting back on track!

Hello lovely people

I have been a bit MIA recently and I haven't been able to blog about all the things promised, things are just getting a bit out of control my neck of the woods and have no time!

Since the September 1st I said I would blog daily about what I have eaten said day for my journey to a healthier life, I also said I would upload a weekly video on my Youtube Channel of weigh day and progress update.

I'm finding it very difficult to keep up to date with everything so I'm afraid I will no longer be posting daily blogs and weekly videos, I am still on my journey and hope to achieve my goal by September and will probably do a weekly update, but not everyday.

I'm truly sorry if you have followed my progress from the beginning, but I would rather do something 100% than 50% here and there.

I will be getting back on track with my Monday - Friday blog posts and hopefully film so more Youtube videos on different subjects e.g. Hauls, Disneybounding  and House makeover as I have just bought a house that needs some serious work and Cannot wait to get cracking! It should be fun :)

Journey to a healthier life! DAY 21 & 22

Hey loves

As usual on a Sunday I don't get up till lunch time, so around 12ish for Brunch I had a Sausage sandwich. I had such a chilled Sunday I put on Disney Film (Peter Pan) and made chilli con carne so it wasn't a rush round dinner time. It was so tasty If I do say so myself.

Ah well it was Sunday and that's the day of rest/scoffing your face hehe.

Today has been so good! despite the fact I hate Monday's I always feel like I have more of a balance in the week.

Breakfast: Cornflakes & Latte
Lunch: Corn beef Sandwich & a packet of Quavers
I also had another Latte before going to work because I was still hungry and needed something to wake me up so it filled a gap.
Dinner: Chicken in the bag with new potatoes and Tomatoes.

I know that drinking Coke the last week didn't help at all so I'm not touching any fizzy drinks all week unless its when I've gone out for tea. Setting myself a rule not to drink Fizzy drinks in the house!

Music Mondays! All about that base!

Who hates Monday's? I DO!

But when "All about that base" comes on, on the radio I can't help but feel happy! I love this song its so upbeat, the tone of her voice is amazing and I love what it's about!

Especially seen as I'm on this Journey to a healthier life and the last week didn't go to according to plan, I gained weight!  The song makes me feel confident again and reminds that each individual is beautiful in their own way!

The colours in the Video are lush, pastels are my favourite colours at the moment and as I'm moving house my living room is going to be full of them (Kinda went off track then)

I think I'm going to be loving this song for a while!

Throwback Thursday! A Goofy Movie!

The other day I was really poorly, and normally when I'm feeling pooey a Disney film is the only thing that helps.

A Goofy movie was definitely one of my favourites growing up, apart from Goofy being such a cutie the fact that his son is in it too, Double Goof LOL.

I Love the Story and I LOVE the music in it, especially Stand out & eye to eye!

Wedding Wednesday's! The Hen Party

Hello beautiful people! 

It's Wednesday So I'm talking about Weddings! Wooohooo 
Today's topic is The Hen Party , which is something I'm not that bothered about Until now where I came up with the greatest idea EVER!

A traditional Hen party would be with a stripper or somewhere on holiday like Ibiza, Benidorm those types of places... and they are not for me and I have two acceptable reasons why!

1) I hate strippers! they make me feel so uncomfortable (nothing against them) and there's only one man I want to see naked and that's Channing Tatum hahaha just kidding obviously my fiance!
2) I already live in Spain, I can go to Benidorm any time and I've gone off it to be fair, been there done that!

Soooo..... as I have an obsession with Paris! (I was proposed to there, Disneyland to be exact) and the last time I went there I really wanted to go to the Moulin Rouge but didn't have enough time, Why not get all my Chicks wisk ourselves off to Paris, and enjoy an amazing weekend, Night out at the Moulin Rouge and maybe a cheeky day in Disneyland!

As the wedding is not for another 808 days and I'm planning on having the Hen party in the summer of 2016! We have plenty of time to save and prepare!

oooooooh Can't wait!

Journey to a healthier life! DAY 16

Current Weight - 12 stone 2 (Friday) then checked again yesterday 12 stone 6 (don't ask how that happened!) 

Goal by December - 10 stone 7 or 11 stone

Hopefully this is what I will be like in DECEMBER
minus not having any boobs and seeing a willy there LOL 

Today I am FEELING GOOD! I had a cheeky unexpected day of work, and some much needed me time!
Breakfast _ I had some toast and jam a lush cup of coffee at my favourite cafe and a girlie chat with the future sister in-law
Lunch_ Lentil soup AGAIN, I can't help it! its sooo yummy and super healthy, so it's not a bad thing!

Tasty Tuesday's! home made Yorkshire Puddings

Hey beauts....


I was struggling deciding on what to make today! I should of made lots of different tasty things seen as I had the day off, but I didn't.

Then it hit me! I was planning on having pork chops, mash and Yorkshire Puddings for dinner, so I thought instead of buying the Yorkshire Puds why not try and make them! It doesn't take very long to make the batter and its exactly the same as Crepe mixture.

I have tried making this before and it's never turned out brilliant but today I was determined!

I never stick to it exactly but I didn't really change much in this recipe, only thing different was I didn't add white pepper!

So if you ever want to show of buy hardly doing anything Home made Yorkshire Puddings are the one! head over to BBC food for a Very easy to follow recipe!
