Feel Fab Friday! My journey to a healthier life

Hi loves!
So I've just filmed a video of how I'm going to start living a more healthier lifestyle

Making this video has made me feel fab today because I've set myself a challenge which I'm really excited to start. I think living a healthy life does make you feel loads better because you are taking care of your body and pride in the way you are, something I don't do. All summer I have been feeling scruffy, porky and drained and I want it to stop! As I said in the video (if you watched it) I will be posting daily blog posts of my success or failure on my process and a weekly video update on Fridays.

I hope this inspires you to think about how you treat your body and what way you can make yourself feel better without going extreme and feeling horrible at the same time.

Throwback Thursday! Lunchables

Oh my goddess! Does anybody still eat these?
Living in Spain it's extremely difficult to come across English food that you were so accustomed to when you lived in England, My mum owns a British supermarket which makes things a lot easier especially when I fancy some good old traditional English food, but silly little kiddie snacks like LUNCHABLES I hardly ever come across.

The biggest British supermarket in my part  of Spain is Iceland, the problem is it's 3 towns away and I obviously don't want to drive all the way just to buy this, (I'm not made of petrol). Luckily we drove past it today and my mum wanted to do a food shop, so I joined her as my fridge was looking rather empty and that's when I saw them, my favourite childhood pack lunch treat. Growing up I used to have these all the time they're so yummy and cute, when I was little I always pretended I was a giant eating them because they're so tiny.

There's nothing really special about them, it's just ham n cheese crackers, but eating them today made me think of the times when I lived in England and being at  Primary School so that's why I chose to use this as my throwback Thursday, to honour the good old days hehe.

Hope you liked this post and maybe it made you think of your childhood and the snacks you used to have in your packed lunch.
Oh and I'd love to know your stacking techniques (haha) Did you used to stack all of them on top of each other and try and fit them all in your mouth or stay classic cracker, ham, cheese and cracker (you are probably thinking what the fruit is she on), let me know people I only bought two packets, leaves me with one left and I was so excited I just shoved them all in without even thinking LOL

National Dog day! BENTLEY

Ok guys it's national dog day and if you love your dog as much as I do then keep on reading.....!


Growing up I was never allowed a Dog due to the fact my mum is allergic, plus she's very OCD and probably couldn't handle the mess.

Anyway when I moved out to live with my now fiancé as a surprise he came how with a tiny 40 day old puppy and named him BENTLEY (I wanted to name him Ralphie but now I couldn't imagine him not being called Bentley). From the moment I saw him I fell in love! I was actually a bit scared of him because I'd never dealt with a puppy before but he was such a character and was always happy to see us.

I love this dog so much! and I love the fact he has different coloured eyes! 

I could write so much more about him but we would be here all day. I hope you liked this post and the pictures of my gorgeous doggy who will be 3 in December.

Wedding Wednesdays: The hard part... deciding on a venue

Hello lovelies
I don't know if you all know but I live in Spain and I'm a British citizen, which makes getting married in Spain is a lot more complicated especially seen as I'm not catholic. 
We are really set on getting married in a church then having the reception in a nice hotel but it doesn't seem to be working that way :( 

We have had a couple of venue choices and ideas on what we should do but everything is so much work!! 

Here are the options.

Rebate Weddings


Rebate weddings appeared a very good option until we heard so bad reviews about the Wedding Planner but that is something we will have to judge ourselves, here you can have a legal ceremony in the cute little church and reception in this gorgeous restaurant.

Weekend away in Gibraltar 

I was more keen on this Idea than Mikey but we have to be equal on the decision so this one is a 80/20 situation, the majority of British people that live in Spain, have a legal service in Gibraltar, then come back and have a blessing with families in a nice villa. Which is a lovely idea and makes it 10 times cheaper than other options but the problem is we want to get married in the winter so we can have the reception outside and a villa wouldn't hold all the guests. 

So I thought of having the whole wedding in Gibraltar, get married in the church and have the reception in a gorgeous hotel, spend the weekend there that way it's like a mini honeymoon, the problem is its a 6 hour drive away and people might not be willing to go that far. Having a lot of people there isn't something I am bothered about but he wants everyone there LOL. 

Married in Gibraltar, Party up the road! 

 The last idea we have come up with recently (like today) is to follow the flock and just get married in Gibraltar then have a blessing and reception in a nearby venue, This way it's close, the venues isn't to pricey, it's easy for people to get home and it would probably work out cheaper, I don't really have much to say about his option as I did with the others, not that I don't like it, its just we have only thought of this literally 5 minutes a go and all the pros and cons haven't fully processed in my head yet!

To my lovely readers.... this is something that is making me very stressed and would love to hear all your opinions, What would you do if it were your wedding? Which out of the three do you prefer? Any tips would be extremely helpful!

Music Mondays!! Troye Sivan: Happy Little Pill

WOoowwW this is a late blog post, so sorry guys, just been having too much fun at the zoo and water park :D

Anyway !! Its Monday *Sings* and I'm blogging about Music!  and this post is dedicated to Happy Little Pill by Troye Sivan. I am loving this song!! I've only just heard it due to seeing a tweet of Tyler Oakley and thought I'd be nosey.  But as soon as that sweet sweet voice hit my ears, I was mesmerized.

I can't even express how much I love this song! Its the type of song I can lay down and listen to for hours, dance around the house in slow motion and all mysterious and something you will hear on the next dark teen romantic movie when the statr couple are dancing at prom! (tbh I can just imagine Edward Cullen and Bella Swan dancing to this in the first Twilight movie LOL)  

I just wanted to add something else....... after hearing this song, I decided to stalk Troye Sivan a bit on youtube hehe and I loved his videos, subscribed instantly and his 1 million subscribers video was sooo sweet!  He seems like such a nice genuine person and deserves it all, hope he carries on making beautiful music!

Feel Fab Friday! Family day out at the beach!

It's Friday time to feel FAB peeps, I spent this lovely day at the beach with my family.

I actually don't like the beach to be honest, I like the look of it and love watching the waves, but normally I can't think of anything worse, but today I really fancied it. Why not? Spending the day tanning, chilling, reading your book, having a snooze whilst listening to the music and cooling off in the sea sounded perfect!

We went to a different beach than we normally go to, which I was really pleased about as I think the other beach was the main reason I didn't like the beach. It's so boring at the one we went to you can hire out boats and there are loads of cocktail bars! So I was set for the day LOL

I wanted to take more photos but I had a not so fab moment (actually a funny story now, but wasn't at the time). We decided to rent out a mini pedalo boat with a slide on it, we saw loads of people on it and it looked so much fun. We rented it for an hour and I lasted 15 minutes! The thing is I can get really sea sick but I didn't think I would on a tiny little pedalo not even that far out from shore but I did. TRUST ME.

Apart from that it was a lot of fun, the slide was super difficult to get onto because it was so rocky and my arse is HUGE so it didn't really fit properly hahah Went down 3 times before I ended up being sick everywhere Oooops!


All in all really enjoyed my day with my family, just getting the time to relax and watch the world go by makes me feel so chilled and I love it!

Thowback Thrusday! Disney 21st Birthday Party

Time to Throw it back!!

My throw back was this year and it was May 31st. My 21st birthday was June 13th but I decided to celebrate it in the space of 3 weeks starting May 31st!

I chose this throw back because last night I had the funniest conversation with a fellow blogger and disney lover on twitter!  check her blog out! ....http://www.vavaviolet.com

Anyway for my party I had a mad hatters tea party! It was soo much fun me and all friends dressed up as Disney Characters, I was Alice because of the theme.

We were drinking mad hatter cocktails out of tea pots, playing loads of Disney games like croquet (An Alice special) Singing all our fave songs and just having a laugh!

Wedding Wednesdays! Junior Bridesmaid dresses

Bonjour ! on Wednesdays we talk about weddings :) 

Today I'm talking about my bridesmaid's dresses, I have 7 bridesmaids, 4 of them are my friends so closer to my age and the other 3 are my cousins and they are all around the same age group, so I've decided to give them different dresses, now as one of my cousins is visiting me at the moment, I thought I would show you the ideal bridesmaid dress I want them to wear. I am 100% sure that I want these dresses for them (think that is the only thing I am sure about apart from getting married OBVS)  
On my wedding day my cousins will be 15, 16, 17  So I don't want to give them something to baby-ish but not as grown up as my other bridesmaid, the dress I have chose for them I'd say is sweet and flirty! 

I love the one on the left and that's what they WILL wear I am determined (he he) What I love most about it the colour, as I'm having a winter wedding I think blue is the perfect colour for the occasion and the off the shoulder sleeve just sells it to me!

I CANNOT wait to see my not so baby cousins looking beautiful in this dress only 836 days to go! it will fly by lol.

Tasty Tuesdays: Caramel Mocha Latte Cooler

It's Tasty time!! I didn't have any time to make anything today because my family has come over from the UK to visit. The one thing I look forward to when going to the airport apart from picking up family is COSTA COFFEE, I know you're probably thinking costa coffee? that's it? but I live in a tiny Spanish village and there is nothing there what so ever! If I want a Starbucks I have to either go on holiday just to go through customs and get to the airport bars or go all the way to Madrid! 

Luckily they have a Costa right outside the departures gate! So I couldn't pass up a cheeky opportunity on getting one of these bad boys......

Even though it was heaven in my mouth I do have to complain about the price. Five euros eighty for a medium one. RIP OFF!! ahhh well I only have one once a year and they are tasty !! 

Hopefully next week will be able to make something new but I have been running around like Crazy today!

Music Mondays!!! ♫♫♫ Christina Aguilera/ Etta James : Something got a hold on me

My music Monday is rather old this week and I'll explain how I chose it, last Saturday was Karaoke at my step-dads bar and I LOVE IT, I was thinking all week about the perfect song  and I decided it's Something got a hold on me. It was originally sung my Etta James, but I much prefer CA's version it's more upbeat!

I cannot stop singing this in the shower I learnt the lyrics in one day and it's made me really want to watch Burlesque. CA sings this at the beginning of the movie!

MOVIE REVIEW: The loved ones (SPOILER ALERT)

Okay in my last movie review I talked more about the characters and why I liked it, the actors, and gave a score out of 10.

I can't do this here because all they way through it all I was thinking "What the actual Fruit is happening right now?"
I hate these types of movies blood, pain and psychos! I was tricked into watching it, there I am casually having an afternoon nap due to an excessive amount of alcohol the previous evening, when I get Mikey saying he's found a movie I would like on rotten tomatoes its all about prom, so I trusting Mikey with my life agreed to watch it as he knows how much I love high school chick flicks.


THIS MOVIE was nothing like it, I had to be sick whilst watching it (might of been because of the hangover though lol) It wasn't even scary it was just full on sick. I can't even explain what happened because I have no idea he he it was one of the most F**Ked (sorry) up things I have ever seen and I had the worst nightmares about it!

If stuff like that doesn't bother you, you probably think I'm overreacting but honest to god it wasn't nice and this movie review is telling you NOT TO WATCH IT if you are the type of person that hates all the stuff I just wrote about, gets easily emotionally scarred or actually wants to have nice dreams & not about some psycho drilling a whole in your skull!

Feel Fab Friday! Getting my hair did!

It's FRIDAY!!!!!!

My treat today was getting my hair done, I have naturally curly hair and find it very hard to straighten it myself or even brush it! So it's nice to have a change. Especially seen as I haven't had straight hair since June!

Dear Lovely Readers!

Dear Lovely Readers.

This is a personal post to all of you lovely people out there that give my blog the time of day (much appreciated). I've only been doing this not even a week and I'm having so much fun! I can't wait to read back on these posts in years to come.
I want to give all of you as much posts as I can, so I thought I would let you in on my planned Schedule and plans for A cup of Rosielee.

On Mondays I will be talking about Music! #MusicMondays   I have a favourite song every week (no joke) so these post will have a link of my fave tune and a reason why I love it so much!.

On Tuesdays I will be talking about Food! #TastyTuesdays I will try and make something new, share the recipe and show you step by step how I made it with photos. If I don't end up cooking/baking I will post a pictures of What I ate that day and say which one was the yummiest :)

On Wednesdays I will be talking about Weddings! #WeddingWednesdays I'm getting married on December 3rd 2016 so until then I will be talking about planning the wedding, or what my ideal Dress, Cake, Venue, decorations etc..... are.

On Thursdays I will be posting a classic Throwback of the week! #ThrowbackThursday of old pictures, films, songs, outfits, events, or a memory.

On Fridays I'm going to do something that makes me Feel Fab!. #FeelFabFriday  this could be from getting my nails done, treating myself to a new outfit or eating something naughty e.g Mcdonalds just the things that make me feel fab :)

These are the 5 posts that will be 100% featured on my blog with out fail! I will do other blog posts maybe on things that I see in magazine, hauls, or just a random one.


Okay now here is where things get different, I was trying to think of stuff to blog about on the weekend, and I didn't want to make any promises because the weekends can be so hectic.
(don't worry there is a point in this)
Soooo I'm always watching people vlog their lives on youtube and I thinks it's amazing, brave and talented what these people do and I feel inspired. Vlogging is something I've have wanted to do for a very long time but I have always been to nervous or worried about people will think, then I thought "Who cares?" this is something I want to do for myself I want to capture every memory and be able to relive it when I want, so much has happened to me this year, like going to my most favourite city in the world (Paris) getting engaged at Disneyland Paris and all I have is photos to remember it! Gutted! So from now on I'm not missing out.
This is my plan...... I will be doing weekend Vlogs Friday-Sunday  and if anything else special happens apart from the weekend I will Vlog that!

I'm Starting my Very first Vlog tomorrow (Friday 15th August 2014) which I will upload Saturday and I'm super nervous so I apologize in advance, I have no Video editing experience so it's a learning curve but also a fun project. Throwback Thursday: Old School Chick Flicks

I'm the type of person who can literally sit on the sofa and watch movies back to back and surround myself with chocolate wrappers... I think the words I'm looking for are lazy, a slob, couch potato, well that's me anyway.

So I had a major throwback and started searching the most popular movies on my TV box and one I came across was CLUELESS, ever since I saw Iggy Azalea's music video to "Fancy" I said to myself I definitely need to watch clueless pronto.

I sooo wish I was a teenager in the 90's and a Cher, these girls crack me up and I am in love with their lifestyle.















My next throwback was NEVER BEEN KISSED

This is by far my favourite Chick Flick, me and my mum would watch this  over and over again! never failed to make us laugh our loud and cry like babies. Drew Barrymore is soooo cute playing Josie Geller. I love the story










Last but not least 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU

Love this movie and love all the cast!
My favourite part of the movie is the musical number in fact I love it so much Check the video below something to give you all a smile. Heath Ledger I adore you!

Wedding Wednesdays: Getting Started

Bonjour ! on Wednesdays we talk about weddings :) 


My big day isn't till December 2016 but its always good to be organised and have everything planned perfectly, I thought planning it would  be easy and I could just do it a couple of months before but there is so much to do! 

I think the first thing a girl thinks about when talking about the wedding (apart from marrying the love of your life) is the DRESS!! and I've definitely got  an idea of my dream dress. I was looking way before I got engaged and I've changed my mind loads since then and I will probably change it again.

Well he designs Disney inspired wedding gowns and if you don't know already I am in love with  all things Disney so it seemed like fate.

The Disney inspired gown I am loving at the moment is Sleeping Beauty style 227

Like I said "Inspired" so it's not going to look  exactly the same but it's still gorgeous!.

If you have a favourite Alfred Angelo Disney inspired gown please let me know by commenting need all the ideas I can get hehe. 

So that's my Disney fave but the ideal dress I would love, is something like this......

because it's a winter wedding I think that the lace cover up makes the dress look a bit warmer but not to much and I love the fact that its big but not too puffy don't want to look like I'm appearing on my big fat gypsy wedding, although some of those dresses are to die for but something I couldn't pull off. 

Anyway that is the style dress I am after but not going dress shopping till the summer is over, it's far too hot to be trying them on.

Tasty Tuesdays! Peanut butter Cornflake Treats!

Hey hey hey

Tuesdays are going to be my try making something new day, I love cooking but never really do it that often as I work really late and its too hot to even look at the kitchen at the moment! so we've have been eating the same old stuff all summer like salads, pasta, pizza, BQQ's and I'm getting really bored with it all so one day of the week I'm going to try something different whether its for breakfast, lunch. tea or a really yummy snack.

So this weeks choice is Peanut butter cornflake Treats.

 I always get new recipes of pinterest and pin it to my food board so give us a cheeky follow on pinterest and see what else I like to attempt to make or just drool over the food pictures LOL.

What you need to make this scrummy snack is....

* 3 cups of cornflakes (crushed)
* 1/2 cup of sugar
* 1/2 cup of chocolate syrup
* 1 cup of crunchy peanut butter
* chocolate ( I had two bars but you can have more or less)

This is a super easy recipe and best part is you don't need to switch on the oven!

* First things first you need to add your sugar, peanut butter, and chocolate syrup into a pan on medium heat and let it melt stirring in the cornflakes.
* Once you've done that pour your mixture and pat it into a flat bowl using grease proof paper (I would spread some butter on to it so it doesn't stick)

 

* Then melt you're chocolate and spread it all over your base so everything is covered :)

* Leave it in the fridge to cool and harden up then cut it into as many pieces you would like ready to serve for when you're feeling peckish or have your friends over.

I'm really pleased with the turnout of them I haven't tasted them yet I hope they taste nice LOL

RIP Robin Williams

I was so sad to hear the news about a great actor who has brought many smiles and laughs to our homes for so many years.
He starred in the majority of my childhood films and never failed to make me love them.
I don't want to post about how this horrible event occurred but remember his greatness with my
Top 3 Robin Williams movies


1.  Aladdin

He voiced the genie brilliantly!! and definitely made Aladdin the way he changed voices in seconds and made it sound so effortless was amazing, and I love his song "Friend like me"

2.  Hook

  

More of a serious film he has starred in. I love the Peter Pan story anyway and the way he played more of an adult roll at the beginning of the movie then back to his childish ways, I JUST LOVE IT !

3,  Mrs. Doubtfire

I'm not even going to express the words for this one. I think that everyone thinks the same thing, its something I can watch over and over again.

I honestly listen to this song every time I get in the car! it's so up beat and catchy I cannot stop listening to it.
The first time I heard it,I decided there should be a certain type of way to dance to this.
This is the kind of music I would love to hear on a night out for sure!!
 I love Ariana Grande and everything about her! all her music, sense of style, love her signature hairstyle,r  I just think she's a love hehe.

HANGOVER FREE SUNDAY :)

Hi lovelies

 I really enjoyed my Sunday because the past few ones I've been dying of hangovers! so when I woke up with a clear head feeling FRESH I was like I'm going to make a smoothie.

I've never really made or had a full smoothie to myself but my mum drinks them religiously!

I grabbed my bananas, strawberry yoghurt's, milk and some left over vanilla ice cream and blended away, it was D'licious and it really filled a gap so I'm definitely making that again but I'm going to try different recipes, if you have any recommendations on which ones I should try feel free to comment :)

After my smoothie miracle, we had to go and pick my car up from a friends and were contemplating on going to Mc Donalds, I really wanted one but 1. its the opposite way from home and 2. I can't really have a smoothie and think that I am super healthy then pig out at maccies so I said NO #willpower

Had a really chilled day went to the in-laws and had some fun in the sun and a little dip in the pool then back home watched a film: the spectacular now (have a peek at my review... http://roseeylee.blogspot.com.es/2014/08/movie-review-spectacular-now-spoiler.html )

and made the tea whilst my lovely fiancé was playing golf. 

Sundays are definitely my fave day of the week. Hope you all had a lovely one :) x

MOVIE REVIEW: The spectacular now (spoiler alert)

I thought I'd give this movie ago, someone recommended it to me the other day and its the same writers from 500 days of summer and i loved that movie!

I'm giving this movie a 6.5/10 it didn't really keep me very interested.

Characters: 
Sutter Keely:  The main man of the movie, i thought he had a good sense of humour and always knew what to say but he definitely was full of himself, felt sorry for himself and moaned a lot. 7/10
Aimee Finecky: Loved her as a character she's so sweet and caring and really didn't give herself enough credit as a person. (bless her)  8/10

Actors:
Miles Teller: As an actor I think he's better playing the joker and in comedy movies, although he did play his character v. well. Does anyone think his voice and characteristics are similar to VinceVaughn? definitely a younger version I think! 8/10
Shailene Woodley: She's actually one of the reasons I chose to watch it. I'm dying to see Fault in our stars and the other day i watched Divergent and thought she was amazing in it, so i wanted to see how she played other characters, I've noticed that in most of her films well the only one I've seen lol and what I've read from Fault in our stars she always plays the type of girl that is shy and unsure of herself. 7/10

How I related to The Spectacular now.  
A main part of the film was how Suter didn't know or have a relationship with his father and when he finally contacted him it didn't go as expected.
I had the same experience early this year, I got in contact with my dad who had been absent from my life for ten years! when we first met it was weird! it was like meeting a stranger but knowing you were related to this stranger didn't feel right, he always spoke about how great his life was and never really asked about me, then he started telling me how to live my life  and as a 21 year old he didn't have the right or authority to do that and he didn't like it when i told him that he couldn't. We haven't spoken since June. (his loss)
